BBTrades is about DayTrading...specifically the e-mini futures markets.  There are many sites related to DayTrading that deal with education, money management, trading psychology and a host of related issues.  These sites can be very valuable to both new and experienced traders, so there is no need for me to try and re-invent that wheel.  My website is about odds and whatever I can do to tilt the odds of any trade in my favor.  Indicators are not about making a chart pretty or cool. Their entire purpose is to give you an edge.  If they don't do that, remove them from your chart as they are then just another distraction.  Keep it simple.

Indicators CAN give you an edge.  Each futures instrument has a unique personality.  I find it best to focus on a single instrument, especially if you are new to trading.  You must put in hours and hours of screen time.  After a while, you will begin to notice the habits and tendencies of certain instruments,  what they do at certain times of the day, at different volume levels and after certain news items.  Play with the indicators.  Change their settings.  Try to get a feel for how the market reacts when an indicator posts a signal, changes direction and/or color.  Learn to recognize these changes and keep records of what you are seeing.  How many ticks does a certain type of move usually generate?  Keep score.  If you had taken a setup, would it have been a winner?  Be honest with yourself.  This way, when you find a setup that works for you, you will have confidence to take the trade because YOU WILL KNOW that the odds are on your side.  You will not win every trade.  Accept it.  If you did your homework, you will understand the numbers are on your side and will not be intimidated by a losing trade.  Trading is about making money, period.  Use every tool you can that will increase your odds of a winning trade.
